What it is: A viewing party of the best and funniest videos of the internet, selected and submitted by you!

How it works:
Send links of your favourite videos on the internet to FrederictonFindsFilms@gmail.com. (No original filmmaking necessary.) Our panel of experts will select the dumbest, finest, funniest, and best videos, and the selected videos will be categorized and shown to the public over an evening of cringing, laughter, and the Capital’s regular Thursday night drink specials. The audience will vote for their favorite video from each category, and the favorite video overall will be awarded a prize!

A few ideas for submitting:

Keep it short:
Would an audience prefer watching a ten-minute loop of song they’ve heard enough on the radio, or a forty-second clip they’ve never seen before?

Keep it homemade:
While videos produced by studios like College Humor and Buzzfeed may certainly tickle the funnybone, nothing can compare to the individuality of original content.

Keep it nice:
There’s a difference between videos that depict awkward misfortune and those that maliciously demean a population.

Bottom line:
Think about yourself as an audience. What videos did you watch, post, and quote for months at a time? Send us those.
