Hot Garbage Players present Rubbish Road

Event Navigation

Tuesday, January 12
Doors: 8:00 pm  / Show: 8:30 pm
Wilser’s Room

Rubbish day,
Sweepin’ our trash your way,
Grab a drink and let these words unfold:
Can you tell me how to get,
How to get to Rubbish Road?

Lend us your felt ears, garbage lovers, we’re toying around with something new (bright, fuzzy, and felt)! Hot Garbage Players are proud to present, in playful puppet partnership with the Puppeteaching Project, our newest show Rubbish Road!

Rubbish Road, an entirely improvised puppet parody, will feature a cast of over fifteen rotating players… that is, if you count our fuzzy co-stars. Join HGP at the Wilser’s Room on Tuesday January 12 as we navigate the murky waters of puppet-human relationships in a very grown up homage to puppet edutainment.

Our rotating (human) players this month are puppet pros Alex Donovan and Puppeteaching Project creator Rebecca Tremblay.

Disclaimer: This show, despite its colourful co-stars, is still 19+. After all, some of those puppets are divas.

Show in the Wilser’s Room at 8:30pm. Doors open at 8pm. $5/ticket or $4 with the donation of a non-perishable food item for the Food Bank.

This program is brought to you by the letters
“X” “O” “X” “O’ “H”, “G”, “P”.
