The Capital

Two super groovy bands. 6$. Be there or be a square!

GoatStories is a band of human beings playing a fun and eclectic mix of funk, fusion and jazz tunes. (Pizza Jazz!)
Formed in the summer of 2017, GoatStories was assembled to tackle some of the wacky and obscure repertoire of current and legendary jazz and funk artists and to dive into their own creative territory within the realm of ‘pizza-jazz’. Consisting of some well known Halifax session musicians, they have been laying down some heavy grooves and quickly acquiring a dedicated group of fans. After only a few gigs, GoatStories has been growing their reputation and has no problem filling dance floors and keeping the crowds entertained with their modern take on jazz and funk music. The band is currently working on a writing and recording an EP of their own quirky compositions which should hopefully be completed by the end of this year. In the meantime, come out to see the band play some fun pizza jazz tunes live!

~Les MoonTunes~
Created in August 2015 in Moncton, N-B, Les MoonTunes is composed of a group of friends from various backgrounds. The 7 members are influenced by different musical genres such as heavy soul, psychedelic rock and Hip-Hop, and they blend their styles together to form a lunar entity.
Considering themselves a jam band, their sources of musical inspiration are improvised evenings, relaxation and their disco light that generates a magical atmosphere. Their song themes range from love and joy to melancholy and rage, all based on their life experiences. In addition to sharing beautiful music, their goal is to transform melodies into emotions.
