Cathartic and anthemic, CHIPS deliver honest, in-your-face punk rock that recalls the emotional hooks of Taking Back Sunday, the experimentation and honesty of Thrice, and the jovial camaraderie of Blink 182. The band released their debut EP Dingers in 2016, an exercise in heartbreak, confusion, longing, and coming to grips with how life can sometimes start to slip away from you. Now, following the release of the single Modern Days in 2018, the band is gearing up to finish their debut LP this year, and bring their anthemic and saccharine singalongs to crowds all across Canada, onehowling chorus of heartache at a time..

A garage-rock band that was actually formed in a garage? Heat $heets! The Fredericton trio is a relatively new to the New Brunswick music scene, but is beginning to make waves, playing shows with great local, national and international acts already and taking part in FestForward2K19 and FLOURISH Festival ’19 to name a few.
Comprised of long-time best buds Ryan Jennings (guitar) and Frank Merrill (percussion), and rounded out by groove master Alex Fredericks (bass), Heat $heets began simply as a reason to get together and learn new instruments, but quickly morphed into a creative outlet that showcases their natural talent for writing catchy, honest songs.
