Accolades are an 8 piece Funk-Fusion band taking over their home town, Toronto. Having spent years honing their skills in some of the best music programs of the city, primarily the Humber and York University Jazz programs, and in some of Toronto’s most renowned venues, such as Lee’s Palace, The Hideout or the Horseshoe, the collective has cultivated a unique upbeat sound that incorporates elements of Progressive Rock, Funk, Jazz, and RnB music. The outcome has proven to be furiously dynamic and packed with gleeful energy, providing a live experience likely to make you swerve those hips!

The Torinosare a three piece rock band based out of Saint John N.B. Canada. These three musicians have all established themselves in different forms, not only in their home town, but across the country. Sam Astorino is the guitarist and founder of the band. Astorino tries to fuse his love of blues rock with punk in your face style and this shows in The Torinos song writing and performances. The rhythm section brings Astorinos songs to life! Dan Boyer (Reagans Rayguns,Quiet Neighbors, Welfare Boys) brings his fun, upbeat punk rock style to the kit and is irreplaceable in The Torinos being there since day one! Ian Sherwood (Acres and Acres,JELLY,Salmon Jazz) this man should be tied up! A absolute power house. Whether its through the country moments that will rock you , the jam moments that will melt you , or the dancing that will energize any crowd ! The Torinos rock the Maritimes like any power trio should!
