Hailing from Fredericton The Tortoise The Hare & The Millionaire consider themselves to be a swampy blues/funk quintet. Winding down from a very successful 2019 saw them play at some of the maritimes biggest festivals alongside Amy Helm, Ariel Posen and Nathaniel Ratecliff & the Nightsweats. 2020 is gearing up to be a big year including a new album and more!

In various combinations the Capital 6 have been playing together for decades, from church basements to major stages, from community radio to Radio 1. They find themselves together again in Capital 6, an instrumental funk project bringing together their diverse musical visions, resolved by the freedom of collaborative writing and the friendship that keeps them playing together after all these years.

As a collective Voodoo Sometimes are a fusion of Funk, Jazz, Psychedelic, Disco, and Jam-Band music to create a portal straight to the dance floor. Getting their start on in the Halifax University scene they began writing new songs and making new friends along the way. As the band grew, in the winter of 2019 they began playing local gigs and in the spring they made their first trip around the Maritimes with stops in NB and PEI. They closed out the summer with a stint during the 20th Anniversary of Evolve Festival.
